ON THE BODY... made to be worn
'
I call the clothes I make RAGMENTS.
This is a play on the words garments (which are usually mass produced) and rags (how our clothes usually end up).
Using natural and sustainable fibres (silk, linen, bamboo, hemp, organic and re-purposed cotton) combined with remnants and pre-loved cast-offs, I de-construct, dye, applique, screen-print, and stitch to create new and unique clothing - anything but mass produced!
My wearable art is on sale at:
Galerie Zone in Leiden, and
Luucx Good Goods in Wageningen
The Netherlands
